Back in 1976 the first PLT workshops were held in ten western states. Since then PLT has trained more than 675,000 educators across the country through in-person workshops. But, we’re keeping pace with change and now also offer environmental education on demand.
The overhauled federal education law promotes environmental education as a way to provide students with a well-rounded, 21st century education. It includes funding to grow environmental literacy in K-12 public schools.
